SEATTLE, WA – Today the Seattle University Athletics Department announced that Men’s and Women’s basketball games will now be streamed on the ESPN+ network. The announcement comes a day after they announced the launching of their new mobile app.
New home for Redhawks basketball:
The move to the ESPN+ platform is one the Redhawks are excited about for many reasons. Most notably is the ability for national exposure which leads to better recruiting pitches to prospective student athletes.
The first broadcast on the ESPN+ network will be this Friday’s home game for the men’s team vs Utah Valley. That game is scheduled for a 6:00 pm tip-off from the Redhawks Center. All men’s and women’s home games within Western Athletic Conference play will be broadcast live through the network while away games will continue to be on the WAC Digital Network.
ESPN+ content is available to stream in HD through the ESPN app on numerous connected devices (Apple, Android, and Amazon Fire devices, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, Chromecast, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Oculus Go) and on ESPN.com.
A television subscription through a cable, satellite or digital provider with access to ESPN’s traditional TV networks does not include access to ESPN+.
An ESPN+ subscription is $5.99 per month, or save over 15% with an ESPN+ Annual Plan at $59.99 per year. A bundle option is also available, including ESPN+ with Disney+ and Hulu for $12.99 per month.
