Larry the SportsCat reveals his Kentucky Derby bets

Larry the SportsCat

(Katlama, WA) Larry the SportsCat, handicapping expert is getting anxious for the Emerald Downs season to start on Wednesday, May 19th, the latest start since opening on June 20th 1996, the original opening day. So to get warmed up he wants to “rock” the Derby and build up some betting capital.

Larry is going to take several angles at this but is focused only on the Derby none of the other races that would lead into pick 3s, 4s, 5s etc. Larry is going to make some straight bets, exactas, trifectas and a big Superfecta. His budget is $2,000.

Larry is sold on Rock Your World with Joel Rosario aboard but after talking with Cerapio Figueroa, Larry is confident Rock Your World is going to fire big and believes he will sit just off the pace 3rd or 4th place all the way up the back stretch. Then turning for home Rock Your World will kick in and pull away to a lead and will not be caught. That is the scenario the SportsCat sees playing out.

Larry likes to play human connections in big races and will rely on that to fill out his tickets.
