Joel Klatt discussed how while everyone on how social media may say that these initial rankings don’t matter, they do. Klatt, of course, understood these rankings do not award a win or loss, however, they are building toward it. These rankings not only build each team’s resume, but they impact recruits and the way perceptions are formed around each program.
