While the question may have begun as an argument for Christian McCaffrey as an MVP favorite, Nick Wright takes a moment to explain why San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy may be getting more credit than he’s due. While the 49ers have had a strong opening season, Nick’s not sure that the success of the offense can be attributed to Purdy, but the pieces around him like McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel, and that if you put another QB in that space, they’d perform just as well.
