The main event was a gauntlet match for a new top contender for the Universal Title involving Sami Zayn, Rey Mysterio, King Corbin, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, and due to the wishes of Roman Reigns WWE official Adam Pearce. Roman joined the fight ringside and dictated the winner.
