Tunisia and Australia met up in the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The first half started off on a strong note when Mitchell Duke put in a no-look header into the back of the net, becoming the second Australian player to score on a header in the World Cup. Tunisia had multiple chances late in the game but failed to score. Australia would hold on to win 1-0, marking their first World Cup win since 2010 and just their third World Cup win all time.
