Sporting KC took on the Seattle Sounders in Seattle as they were looking for their first win of the MLS season. They decided to make a statement early as Erik Thommy scored in the fourth minute. Sporting KC wasn’t done in the first, as Alan Pulido scored in 31′. Seattle would make things interesting as Nicolas Lodeiro scored off a penalty kick. Seattle couldn’t get anything else going and Sporting KC walked away with their first win of the MLS season.
