Seattle Seahawks linebacker Uchenna Nwosu is likely headed for season-ending pectoral surgery, coach Pete Carroll told reporters Monday. Here’s what you need to know:
“I don’t have all the information, but it sounds like it’s heading toward surgery,” Carroll said. “If that happens, yes (Nwosu would be out for the year).”
Nwosu exited Sunday’s 20-10 win over Arizona in the second quarter with the pec injury and did not return.
The 26-year-old tallied 9.5 sacks last season and signed a three-year contract extension with Seattle in July.
