In the second half Nashville FC’s Teal Bunbury found the net after a wicked shot by Hany Mukhtar to give Nashville SC a 2-0 lead over Atlanta United. Atlanta United retaliated when Thiago Almada scored a penalty kick after Matheus Rossetto dragged a penalty. To seal the game Jacob Shaffelburg’s clinical strike in stoppage time secured Nashville SC’s 3-1 victory over Atlanta United.
