Minnesota United FC defeated Nashville SC after a slow start in the first half ended in a physical and firework filled match. Franco Fragapane cashed in for the first goal of the game for Minnesota in the 27th minute. Hany Mukhtar found an equalizer in the 61st minute for Nashville. But Alan BenÃtez connected on the crossing ball in the 75th minute to give Minnesota the edge it needed to pull out the 2-1 victory on the road.
