No. 4 Michigan defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes in their first road game of the season, 27-14. J.J. McCarthy finished with 155 pass yards and one touchdown. Blake Corum sealed the win with a touchdown run in the late fourth quarter. Corum rushed for 133 yards on the day. Iowa had the ball, down 20-17, inside the Michigan 1 yard line with over 5 minutes to play, but couldn’t convert on 4th down which eventually became the dagger.
