The Marquette Golden Eagles went head to head against the Xavier Musketeers in the Big East Championship. The Golden Eagles put on a stellar performance completely dominating the court in the first half, 39-24. In the second half, Xavier tried to come back but couldn’t handle the ferocity Tyler Kolek brought after he scored 20 points in the final. Marquette secured their bragging rights as the 2023 Big East Champions after defeating Xavier 65-51.
