Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Ottawa Senators games can go to 50 percent capacity on Thursday, the province of Ontario announced. Full capacity is scheduled for March 14 but if COVID-19 numbers keep trending in a positive direction, it could be moved to March 1. Currently, indoor sporting venues in Ontario have capacity limits of 500 people due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was originally scheduled to be in place until Feb. 21. With the COVID-19 situation improving in Ontario, the government decided to move up its reopening plans, which include increasing capacity at sporting venues.The Maple Leafs take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at Scotiabank Arena on Thursday. The Raptors won't play at home until March 1 against the Brooklyn Nets.
