Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes his side can continue to build on their recent success – but admits there is a difficulty to overcoming "the best team in a long time" Manchester City.Klopp has brought the Premier League title and Champions League trophy to Anfield in recent seasons. However, they ended last campaign trophyless while City won their third Premier League in four seasons.City appear to be on the cusp of another title – they are nine points clear of second-place Liverpool. And the German manager – who managed an "insane" Borussia Dortmund team that was broken up in the transfer market – admits only his side's "quality" has seen them keep within range of Pep Guardiola's team."It would be a shame after seven years if they didn't get what I tell them, or a miracle to survive as a manager if they didn't do that," he said."We grew together as a group and as a team. I had outstanding squads in my life, thank God, and I rank them that high."The Dortmund squad of 10-11, 11-12 was insane. The only problem was we only had it for two years and then the football world thought the Dortmund journey was long enough, so now let's pick a few (of their players)."That doesn't happen here. We can keep them and that means we can build on the things we did together and that makes a difference."We came through in the last few years with pretty much the same squad. Because of the character the boys showed I rate them really highly."We talk about the (Winter) Olympics at the moment and there at least we can talk about one, two and three as a great achievement."In football it is only one great achievement. You win it or not."We fight with the best team for a long time in City – and a lot of other really good teams who are close to that – for success."We need the quality we have for that.
