Hector Santiago becomes first pitcher ejected for foreign substance in Mariners’ 3-2 win over White Sox

Hector Santiago was ejected in the bottom of the fifth inning following a foreign substance check in the Seattle Mariners’ 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox. The substance was found on his glove. Santiago is the first pitcher to be ejected amid MLB’s crackdown on foreign substances. Taylor Trammell hit two home runs in Seattle’s win.
