Kane expressed a state of disappointment, but stayed hopeful and deemed the draw as a “good clean sheet” which puts them in a solid position to qualify. Kane also stated that the biggest positive to come from this draw is England’s placement at the “top of the group with one game to go.” He looks forward to Tuesday and seeing where his team can improve on the pitch.

The Boston Bruins beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 in overtime on Friday, setting the NHL record for most home victories to start a season with the win.
