Former Washington State guard TJ Bamba is transferring to Villanova, he announced Friday. Here’s what you need to know:
Bamba averaged 15.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for the Cougars last season. He ranked eighth in scoring in the Pac-12 last season.
The Bronx, N.Y., native was the eighth-best transfer available on The Athletic’s rankings.
Villanova went 17-17 in 2022-23, its first season under coach Kyle Neptune.
