Everton midfielder Tom Davies has said on social media that he will not return from injury until next season.Davies, 23, has not played since November and has started just one Premier League match this season.The midfielder sustained a knee injury against Tottenham Hotspur on November 7. He then suffered a thigh problem in December while working his way back to full fitness. Everton said subsequent “investigations revealed a high-grade tendon injury that required surgical intervention”.A fan on Instagram asked Davies: “When could you be back on the pitch. Missing you so much Tommy.” Davies replied: “Next season.” Davies has spent his entire professional career at Goodison Park, making a total of 158 appearances in all competitions for the club.(Photo: Getty Images)
