The seventh-ranked Creighton Bluejays were without star player Marcus Zegarowski, but had no troubles dominating the St. John’s Red Storm, 97-79. Denzel Mahoney scored 24 points to lead six Bluejays who scored in double figures. The Red Storm challenged late, lead by Julian Champagnie’s 33 points and 10 rebounds, but could not get over the hump.
