At his press conference announcing his new four-year, $160 million contract with the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Dak Prescott shared that he has looked to Alex Smith for inspiration in his recovery from a gruesome leg injury. Smith suffered a similar injury in 2018 before returning and winning the NFL’s 2020 Comeback Player of the Year award.
