The Marquette Golden Eagles squeaked past the St. John’s Red Storm, 73-71, in a game that went down to the final seconds where Julian Champagnie missed the potential game-winning three pointer at the buzzer. D.J. Carton slammed a few monster dunks and led the Golden Eagles with 14 points and five rebounds. Freshman forward Justin Lewis added 13 points, seven rebounds, and one assist in the win.
