Great Britain looked to stay alive in the World Baseball Classic as they took on Colombia. In the first inning Colombia’s Oscar Mercado hit an RBI single for the first score of the game. Colombia added to their lead in the fourth inning, Dayan Frias drove in two runs for a 3-0 advantage. Great Britain got on the board in the fourth, plating three runs to even the score. Team GB took the lead in the fifth inning, Jaden Rudd hit a 2 RBI double. In the seventh they scored two more runs on a homer and wild pitch. Colombia struck out to end the game, falling 7-5.
