The Florida Gators edged out the LSU Tigers, 83-79, in a close game that came down to the final minute. Colin Castleton led the charge for the Gators with 21 points and six rebounds. The Tigers fell just short despite big performances from Cameron Thomas who scored 28 points and Trendon Watford who nabbed 21 points and eight rebounds.
