Trailing 5-4 with just a handful of outs to work with, Austln Slater was the hero for the San Francisco Giants on Saturday night. He clubbed a clutch two-run homer in the eighth inning, traveling 482 feet, to give the Giants a 6-5 lead they would not relinquish against the reeling Arizona Diamondbacks.
