James Harden wanted to go to the Philadelphia 76ers, even when he was leaving the Houston Rockets 13 months ago. After 80 games with the Brooklyn Nets, Harden is now a member of the Sixers, a team he sees as a "perfect fit.""Philly was my first choice," Harden said during his introductory news conference on Tuesday. He finally landed with the team via trade Thursday, along with Paul Millsap, in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks.Playing on three teams in the span of two seasons "wasn't planned like this," Harden said. He admitted there were a lot of ups and downs the past year. But that's in the past, according to Harden, who is excited about this "opportunity of a lifetime.""I’m in a place where I can be the best James Harden I can be on the court," Harden said.The Sixers have a 34-22 record, sitting fourth in the Eastern Conference.
