Joey Gallo marked his fifth-straight game of slamming a home run for the Texas Rangers on Thursday afternoon in the team’s 8-3 win over the Oakland Athletics. The home run streak is the longest in the majors this season and tied for second in Rangers history behind Kevin Mench who homered in seven consecutive games in 2006.
