Uruguay and South Korea faced off to kick off the matchups for Group H. South Korea’s fans anxiously awaited to see if Son Heung-Min would be playing against Uruguay after a fractured eye socket on November 2. He played wearing a mask to protect his injury. There were many chances so score but nobody was successful and both teams played great defense with pressure to keep the opposing offense from scoring.
