The Atlanta Falcons narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers in a 37-34 overtime matchup. Panthers kicker Eddy Piñeiro botched a 48-yard extra point attempt in the fourth quarter after PJ Walker threw a huge 62-yard touchdown pass to DJ Moore, who drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for removing his helmet during the celebration. Piñeiro then missed a 32-yard field goal attempt in overtime wide left. The Falcons currently hold first place of the NFC South over the Tampa Bay Bucs, but Nick Wright is not buying them.
