Colombia took on Mexico in Group C of pool play in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. This back and forth battle went 10 innings and Colombia came out on top 5-4 over Mexico. Notably, Reynaldo Rodriguez led Colombia with a two-run go-ahead home run in the 5th inning, and a go-ahead RBI single in the 7th inning.
