The nineteenth-ranked Illinois Fighting Illini stunned the seventh-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes, 80-75, in a game that had 22 lead changes. Scoring came easily for Ayo Dosunmu who nabbed 19 of his 25 points in the first half on his way to his 31st consecutive double-figure game. Fighting Illini guard Trent Frazier had the hot hand from deep, sinking four threes and racking up 24 points. Luka Garza and Joe Wieskamp paced the Hawkeyes with 19 points each, but it was not enough to squeak out a win.
